Bettery Magazine’s CHANGE OF VIEW photo documentary series and competition poses the following question,
“What illuminates the soul of this city for you?”

Moscow: A Treasure Trove of Architecture
Moscow’s urban landscape reveals its layers of history to anyone with open eyes – it’s right there in the city’s architecture. Wandering around the city, you are bound to pass many structures without sparing them a second thought or glance. But sometimes, “that old building” is really quite special: It’s just a matter of appreciating the found, but forgotten treasure. Here, we have a constructivist relic – an industrial bakery from the 1930s. Starting right at the top of the building with bread’s raw materials, the bakery’s revolutionary design and automation transformed the flour into baked goods by the time it reached the bottom, churning out 50,000 warm loaves every day!
